(c) As required by HMRC, we are legally compelled to collect and handle data from employees (including contact information, bank account information, tax information, and pay information).

(d) We have a legitimate interest in collecting and processing data from prospective clients, including their name and contact information, in order to facilitate the client’s matching with a possible therapist and the construction of an online profile to facilitate this process.

We have a legitimate interest in collecting and processing data from Therapists in order to connect them with a prospective client, which includes the construction of an online profile.

(e) We have obtained consent to collect and handle data from prospective employees interested in working for us for the purpose of interviewing. At any moment, a candidate may revoke consent, request, change, or delete their data by emailing info@machinery-makers.com.

How we store your personal information

Your information is safely saved in our cloud database, encrypted website, and encrypted server at Setmore.

We retain Client information (as mentioned above) for a period of two years following the conclusion of services. We shall then delete your information manually from our database.

We retain the Therapist’s information (as indicated above) for a period of two years following the cessation of treatment. We shall then delete your information manually from our database.

We retain employee information (as defined above) for a period of two years following termination of employment. We shall then delete your information manually from our database.

We retain Candidate information (as defined above) for a period of two years following termination of employment. We shall then delete your information manually from our database.

Who your information is shared with

We will not share, sell, or lease your personal information to other parties unless you give us specific consent or we are forced to do so by law.

Payments

At the moment, we accept payments using Setmore Appointments and PayPal. We are certain that both of these firms (whose privacy policies are shown below) share our principles regarding data protection and maintain a high degree of security to ensure the safety and security of your information.

While Machinery-Makers does keep track of appointments and payments made, which are protected by encryption and two-factor authentication, we do not collect any financial special category information, such as bank or credit card information.
